Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is yoga suitable for me?
A: Anyone can practice, no matter what your age or condition - all can benefit under the correct supervision.
Q: Do I need to book in advance?
A: Courses and workshops need to be booked in advanced as numbers are restricted due to the venues.
Q: What do I wear?
A: It is advised that you wear light clothing that doesn't restrict movement. Breathable cotton fabrics are always ideal. You may also bring a blanket for relaxation at the end of the class.
Q: Do I need a mat?
A: Mats are supplied if required. High quality mats for personal use are also available for purchase at a reasonable price.
Q: Can I eat before class?
A: It's not ideal, but each individual and lifestyle is different. As with any form of exercise it's not recommended you eat a 'large' meal within two hours prior to a class. If you must, I would recommend a light snack that is easily digested.
Q: I have a joint problem or injury. Is it still ok to practice?
A: This will depend on the individual and the issue in question. Before booking please initially contact Sarah about any concerns you may have.
