Dynamic Yoga Teachers

Sarah Wilde

Sarah is one of only eight authorised senior Dynamic Yoga teachers, with over 3,500 hours of certified training. This means that she has been officially recognised by Godfrey Devereux (founder of the Dynamic Yoga Method) as having demonstrated a total commitment to teaching the Dynamic Yoga Training Method over many years, and has been empowered to run workshops and courses presenting the method to students and trainee teachers. She is the senior teacher of dynamicyogateacher.co.uk and runs a very busy schedule teaching courses, classes and workshops in and around Wanstead, London and the UK, and Europe, she also supports Olivia Crooks on the UK Dynamic Yoga Teacher Training Immersions.

Through direct experience, Sarah feels that yoga can bring us to a greater sense of who and what we are, becoming more comfortable with what we discover along the way. As a teacher she is able to open those doors for others, giving her students the opportunity to uncover the inherent wisdom inside their own bodies, while bringing them closer to feeling deeply intimate with who and what they are.

Her teaching is thorough, clear and to the point, at the same time being supportive, gentle and insightful.

Sarah is also a superb cook, and has developed her skills through macrobiotics to bring 'Yoga and Cooking' days to her Woodford Green Yoga Studio. She has been a head chef at the Windfire Yoga Retreat in Italy for the past few summers, and at the Dynamic Yoga Bhoga Festival in Spain. You can follow her blog and read a little more about her delicious cooking at www.travellingyogichef.com

"Sarah teaches using sensitivity, honesty, openness, presence and generosity to protect, nurture and reawaken the body. Her teaching is thorough, clear and to the point"

Cathy Jackson

Cathy has been practising Dynamic Yoga for many years. She attended the Windfire School of Yoga Teacher Training, back in 2006, in London with Godfrey Devereux to broaden her personal knowledge and experience of the method. Although she did not intend to teach initially, she has retaken the immersion modules, with Olivia Crooks and Sarah Wilde, in 2013 and now enjoys sharing the method by teaching classes in Essex and London.

Her calm teaching is grounded in vinyasakrama (step-by-step instruction) which deeply supports the body within the postures. By inviting her students to feel deeply the sensations being generated by the body Cathy is able to guide the class into a safe, effective and nourishing yoga practice.

Susanna Pettitpierre

Susanna has been practicing yoga for over fifteen years and teaching for four. She is a certified Dynamic Yoga teacher with over 500 hours of training with Godfrey Devereux, Master of the Dynamic Yoga Training Method. Susanna teaches both in the UK and the Middle East.

Her courses are taught using a step by step process (vinyasakrama) to help the student learn, through direct experience, classical yoga techniques including, pranayama (free breathing), vinyasa, (moving with breath), asana (postures) and concentration. Her intention is to guide the student to trust their own inner authority through somatic enquiry and move their body accordingly, integrating body, mind and spirit. She provides a nourishing, supportive and safe space for the exploration and invitation to openness and expansion.

Susanna is also a Business Psychologist and promotes well being though stress management workshops that include yoga and meditation practice, as well as leadership development programs. She is also currently broadening her understanding and portfolio by training as an Existential Counseling Psychologist and Psychotherapist and as a Biodynamic Massage Therapist.

Susanna is passionate about promoting well being and feels that yoga, when approached with integrity and as self enquiry, can help us to open ourselves to our true nature and support our clear seeing of what is actually happening - Being in Aliveness.
